The Hervey Bay Sailing Club invites entries from eligible Trailable Yachts to sail this approximately 90km long Category 5 event with limited rescue boat availability on the waters of the Tin Can Bay Inlet, the Great Sandy Strait and Hervey Bay between Tin Can Bay and Hervey Bay with an overnight stop in Garrys Anchorage between Stewart Island and Fraser Island and a trophy presentation function at the Hervey Bay Boat Club Urangan Boat Harbour.

The event will be sailed over the Queensland Labour Day Long Weekend with Leg 1 Tin Can Bay to Garrys Anchorage 1100hrs to 1600hrs on Saturday, Leg 2 Garrys Anchorage to Hervey Bay 0730hrs to 1530hrs on Sunday and with trophy presentation at 2000hrs on Sunday at the Hervey Bay Boat Club.
